From October 14 to 15, Commissioner Cui Jianchun led the delegation comprising consular corps and business communities in Hong Kong, along with representatives from the HKSAR government and media, to Yili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
In Yining City, the delegation visited the production workshops of Yimuxin Dairy Co., Ltd and sampled the high-quality dairy products produced in the beautiful local environment, which received widespread praise. The delegation also toured the Kazanqi and Liuxing Street Folk Tourism Area, where they rode traditional horse-drawn carriages through the streets and alleys and visited local homes to experience ethnic customs. They fully grasped the diverse cultures of Xinjiang, which coexist harmoniously and live in peace and contentment.

In Horgos City, the delegation was struck by the majestic grandeur of the Sixth-Generation Border Gate and was even more impressed by the port's advanced electronic customs clearance system and the speed with which commodity vehicles enter and exit the country. The delegation also visited the China-Kazakhstan Horgos International Border Cooperation Center to gain a firsthand understanding of trade exchanges and expressed admiration for the innovative "One Park Connecting Two Countries" cooperation model.
