From October 12 to 13, Commissioner Cui Jianchun led the delegation comprising consular corps and business communities in Hong Kong, along with representatives from the HKSAR government and media, to Kashgar.
The delegation visited Investment Promotion and Service Center of Kashi Area of China (Xinjiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone. They listened to the introduction to the progress of the FTZ’s development and praised Kashgar's strategic location with “Five Ports Connecting Eight Countries and One Route Linking Europe and Asia”, as well as its abundant agricultural, solar, thermal, and mineral resources. They expressed their desire to explore cooperation with the Kashi Area of China (Xinjiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone.

The delegation also visited the Kashgar Ancient City, experiencing firsthand the rich history, culture, and unique ethnic customs of this important Silk Road city and appreciating its vibrant tourism economy.
