To continue to facilitate cross-border travel, China has decided to extend visa-free policy to France and other countries (the list is as follows) to December 31, 2026. China has added Sweden to the visa-free scheme effective from November 10, 2025 to December 31, 2026. Nationals of the countries listed below holding ordinary passports, traveling to China for business, tourism, family visit, exchange and transit purposes and with the duration of each single stay not exceeding 30 days, are eligible for visa-free entry policy. Individuals who do not meet the visa-free requirements still need to apply for a visa before entering China.
