On April 17, Commissioner Cui Jianchun met with Mr. Jason Chang, the new Chairman of the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong upon request.

Commissioner Cui congratulated Mr. Jason Chang on his new position, appreciated the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong for its constructive role in promoting the prosperity and stability of Hong Kong, and strengthening exchanges and cooperation between China and Australia. Commissioner Cui briefed Mr. Chang on the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and China’s 2026 “Two Sessions”, encouraged the Chamber to seize the opportunities from China's high-quality development and high-standard opening-up, so as to achieve win-win development.

Mr. Jason Chang said that the Australian Chamber of Commerce cherished the unique status and advantages of Hong Kong, and viewed positively about China's 15th Five-Year Plan and its future development prospects, and would leverage the Chamber's strengths to actively facilitate exchanges and cooperation between Australia and China, including Hong Kong, in such fields as economy, trade, and technology.
