Commissioner Cui Jianchun met with Consul General of Spain Mr. Miguel Aguirre de Cárcer

On September 20, 2024, Commissioner Cui Jianchun met with consul general of Spain Mr. Miguel Aguirre de Cárcer.

    Commissioner Cui briefed Mr. Miguel Aguirre de Cárcer on the third plenary session of the 20th Communist Party of China Central Committee and the successful practice of the "one country, two systems" policy in Hong Kong, hoped spain seize the historic opportunities from China's ongoing reform, promote relations between the two countries and strengthen exchanges and cooperation between Hong Kong and Spain in various fields. 

Mr. Miguel Aguirre de Cárcer appreciated China's development achievements and said that Spain values the unique advantage of Hong Kong and would like to see it more stable and prosperous, expressed his continuous commitment to the pragmatic cooperation between Spain and Hong Kong.


  

The two sides also had exchanges of views on other issues of mutual interest.
