Commissioner Cui Jianchun met with Principal Secretary Korir Sing’Oei of the Republic of Kenya

    On August 6, Commissioner Cui Jianchun met with Dr. Korir Sing'Oei, Principal Secretary of State Department for Foreign Affair of the Republic of Kenya.

    Commissioner Cui extended welcome to Dr. Sing’Oei, briefed the successful practice of “One Country, Two Systems” in Hong Kong and the new positioning of Hong Kong's development in the 15th Five-Year Plan, and encouraged Kenya to seize the opportunities to deepen exchanges and cooperation with Hong Kong in the fields of economy, trade, technology and culture.

    Dr. Sing'Oei acknowledged that strengthening Kenya-Hong Kong cooperation is an essential aspect of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Kenya and China, and he looks forward to further deepening mutually beneficial cooperation between Kenya and China in various fields by leveraging Hong Kong's role as a "super-connector".
