On July 28, Commissioner Cui Jianchun received a farewell visit from Amir Shlomo Laty, Consul General of the Israel in Hong Kong.

Commissioner Cui commended the Consul General for his contributions during his tenure to promoting pragmatic cooperation between Hong Kong and Israel, further elaborated on new opportunities for cooperation between Israel and Hong Kong as well as the Mainland of China, and encouraged the Consul General to continue to support cooperation and exchanges between Hong Kong and Israel in his new position.

The Consul General Amir Shlomo Laty thanked the Office of the Commissioner for the support and assistance provided during his term, and expressed his expectation and confidence that the relations between the two countries as well as exchanges and cooperation in various fields between Israel and Hong Kong will be further developed.
