On January 30, Commissioner Cui Jianchun received a farewell call from Kharlap Tatyana, Consul General of Belarus in Hong Kong. Deputy Commissioner Mr. Hua You, Ms. Darya Bohdan, the Vice-Consul of Consulate General of Belarus in Hong Kong and others participated.

Commissioner Cui briefed the Consul General on the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and spoke highly of the bilateral relations, expressed appreciation to the positive contributions made by Consul General Kharlap Tatyana to promoting exchanges and cooperation between Hong Kong and Belarus during her tenure, further encouraged the Consul General to continue to support cooperation and exchanges between Hong Kong and Belarus in her new position.

Consul General KharlapTatyana thanked the Commissioner's Office for its support and assistance in performing her duties. The Consul General also said that she believes that the relations between the two countries as well as exchanges and cooperation in various fields between Belarusand Hong Kong will be further developed.

The two sides also exchanged views on other issues.
