On July 16 2024, Commissioner Cui Jianchun received a courtesy call from the new CG of Pakistan Mr. Riaz Ahmed Shaikh.

Commissioner Cui spoke highly of the relations between the two countries and welcomed the Consul-General to take up his new post in Hong Kong. He also encouraged Mr. Riaz Ahmed Shaikh to seize opportunities from Hong Kong's development, and make his efforts to further promote Hong Kong-Pakistan cooperation.
