Recently, Yang Yirui, Director General of Department of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs of MFA, led the Overseas Government Delegation to visit Hong Kong SAR upon invitation. The delegation consisted of some senior diplomats from 10 Asian and African countries. During the visit, the delegation exchanged ideas with senior officials of the SAR government, held talks with departments in charge of finance, trade, innovation and technology, and visited the West Kowloon Cultural District and Hong Kong Science Park.

Commissioner Cui Jianchun and Director General Yang Yirui said to the delegation that seeing is believing, and further expressed their wish that everyone could deeply experience the unique advantages of Hong Kong's One Country, Two Systems and internal and external connections, the safe, stable and sound business environment under the rule of law, and the bright prospects of vigorous development and massive potential. More international friends are welcome to visit Hong Kong, feel Hong Kong and understand Hong Kong.

Before departure, members of the delegation said that through this visit, they have observed the successful practice of One Country, Two Systems in Hong Kong and appreciated Hong Kong's unique charm and development vitality. They are willing to actively promote the deepening of exchanges and cooperation between their countries and Hong Kong, for the benefit of better bilateral relations between their countries and China.

After the visit in Hong Kong, the delegation also visited Shenzhen to learn about the latest achievements in the development of new quality productivity in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
