Commissioner Cui Jianchun met with Consul General of Uruguay Mr Federico Lage

    On June 17, Commissioner Cui Jianchun accepted a courtesy call from the first Consul General of Uruguay in Hong Hong Mr Federico Lage.

    Commissioner Cui welcomed Mr Lage to take up his new post in Hong Kong and introduced him the successful practice of "One Country, Two Systems" in Hong Kong and Hong Kong's unique advantages. Commissioner Cui encouraged Mr. Lage to seize the dividends of Hong Kong's development and further promote Hong Kong-Uruguay exchanges and cooperation. Mr Lage expressed his commitment to play a positive role in Uruguay-China relations and Uruguay-Hong Kong cooperation.
