On July 21, Commissioner Cui Jianchun received a farewell visit from Carmelo Ficarra, Consul General of the Italy in Hong Kong.

Commissioner Cui commended the Consul General for his contributions during his tenure to promoting pragmatic cooperation between Hong Kong and Italy, and expressed hope that he would continue to play a role in advancing the deepening of bilateral relations and pragmatic cooperation between Hong Kong and Italy in his new post.

The Consul General Carmelo Ficarra thanked the Office of the Commissioner for the support and assistance provided during his term, and expressed his expectation and confidence that friendly relations between Italy and China, as well as exchanges and cooperation between Italy and Hong Kong, would achieve even greater development.
