From June 22 to 27, Deputy Commissioner Li Yongsheng led the delegation comprised of consular corps and business communities in Hong Kong, along with representatives from the HKSAR government and media, to Changsha, Xiangtan and Zhuzhou of Hunan Province.

Wang Junshou, Vice Governor of Hunan Province, met the delegation and warmly welcomed the delegation members to invest and develop business in Hunan. The provincial government, along with the municipal governments of Xiangtan and Zhuzhou, held dedicated promotion events for the visit, which established platforms for economic and trade cooperation. Li Yongsheng expressed his hope that the delegation members would use this visit as an opportunity to gain a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of Hunan's business environment and advantageous industries, and to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation.

The delegation paid tribute by laying flowers at the statue of Mao Zedong in Shaoshan and conducted on-site visits to key industries—including rail systems, biomedicine, green energy, and cultural and creative sectors—to gain an immersive experience of Hunan's economic vitality and historical and cultural heritage. Members of the delegation highly commended the enterprises of Hunan and expressed their anticipation of expanding economic and trade investments and cooperations in the region.
