On October 15th, before concluding the visit to Xinjiang, Commissioner Cui Jianchun, leading the delegation comprising consular corps and business communities in Hong Kong, along with representatives from the HKSAR government and media, shared his impressions of Xinjiang in a joint interview with Xinhua News Agency, China News Service, HKSTV, TVB, Cable TV, Now TV, Hong Kong Commercial Radio, and Bastille Post.

Commissioner Cui stated that the field trip allowed the delegation to witness a peaceful, secure, prosperous, and open Xinjiang. I’ve got three key takeaways from this trip:
First, we must always uphold and strengthen the Party's overall leadership. The remarkable development achievements of the Xinjiang Autonomous Region fully demonstrate the significant advantages of Party leadership and the socialist system. We must fully implement the CPC's guidelines for governing Xinjiang in the new era laid down by General Secretary Xi Jinping and his important instructions on Xinjiang work, build a socialist modern Xinjiang that is characterized by unity, harmony, prosperity, affluence, cultural progress and a sound eco-environment, where people live and work in peace and contentment.
Second, Hong Kong has significant potential to help Xinjiang expand its opening up. Xinjiang is the core area of the Silk Road Economic Belt, and the central government has given it "Five Strategic Positions". As a key node in the Belt and Road Initiative, Hong Kong can leverage its advantages in domestic and international connectivity to provide strong support for Xinjiang's opening up.
Third, cooperation between Xinjiang and Hong Kong offers broad scope and enormous potential. Xinjiang boasts rich resources in natural ecology, cultural history, economy, and industry. Hong Kong can provide a comprehensive solution to Xinjiang businesses and products to expand globally, and can also serve as a key platform for sharing Xinjiang's beautiful story with the international community.
