Commissioner Liu Guangyuan Met Outgoing CG of Kazakhstan

On 1 August 2022, Commissioner Liu Guangyuan met with outgoing CG of Kazakhstan Mr Rashid Yerishev.

Commissioner Liu spoke highly of the development of China-Kazakhstan relations and the achievements of Hong Kong-Kazakhstan cooperation, commended the positive contributions made by the CG in promoting people-to-people exchanges and economic and trade cooperation, and encouraged him to continue to support the successful practice of “one country, two systems” in Hong Kong.

The CG thanked thanked the Commissioner’s Office for its support and assistance in performing his duties, and said that Kazakhstan would, as always, firmly support policies of the Chinese Central Government towards Hong Kong and that he is full of confidence in Hong Kong’s greater development. He also reaffirmed that the Consulate General of Kazakhstan and himself will continue to try best to play a positive role enhancing friendly cooperation between Hong Kong and Kazakhstan.
