Commissioner Liu Guangyuan Met New CG of Japan

On 10 November 2021, Commissioner Liu Guangyuan received a courtesy call from new CG of Japan Mr Kenichi Okada. 

Commissioner Liu extended welcome to the CG and elaborated on China’s principled position on Hong Kong related issues. He also expressed the hope for the the Japanese Consulate General to focus on promoting economic, trade and cultural exchanges and cooperation between Japan and Hong Kong, and play a constructive role in advancing the development of China-Japan relations and Hong Kong’s prosperity and stability.
