On November 22, 2024, Commissioner Cui Jianchun met with Consul General of Peru Mr Enrique Carlos CARDENAS ARESTEGUI.

 


 

Commissioner Cui congratulated Peru on successfully hosting the 31st APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting, and spoke highly of China-Peru relations. He also briefed the CG on the third plenary session of the 20th Communist Party of China Central Committee and the unique advantages of Hong Kong under "one country, two systems".

Mr ARESTEGUI said that Peru firmly supports the "one country, two systems", and will strengthen experience exchanges of state governance with China and further promote cooperation between Peru and Hong Kong in fields such as economy, trade, education, health and infrastructure.
