Commissioner Cui Jianchun met with Consul General of Nigeria Mr Oludare Ezekiel FOLOWOSELE

On October 18, 2024, Commissioner Cui Jianchun received a courtesy call from Consul General of Nigeria Mr Oludare Ezekiel FOLOWOSELE. 

 

 

Commissioner Cui welcomed Mr FOLOWOSELE, looked back on the history of China-Nigeria friendly cooperation and briefed him on the third plenary session of the 20th Communist Party of China Central Committee and the unique advantages of Hong Kong under “one country, two systems”. He encouraged Mr FOLOWOSELE to seize the historic opportunities from China's ongoing reform and promote greater development of China-Nigeria relations and Hong Kong-Nigeria cooperation.

Mr FOLOWOSELE spoke highly of China's achievements, and expressed his strong confidence in the bright prospects of Hong Kong. He said he would work hard to further promote cooperation between Nigeria and Hong Kong in various fields such as economy, trade, finance, agriculture, education, and people-to-people exchanges during his tenure.
