Commissioner Cui Jianchun met with Consul General of Singapore Mr. Ong Siew Gay

On July 24, 2024, Commissioner Cui Jianchun met with consul general of Singapore Mr. Ong Siew Gay.

 


    Commissioner Cui briefed Mr Ong on the third plenary session of the 20th Communist Party of China Central Committee and encouraged him to seize the historic opportunities from China's ongoing reform and further promote exchanges and cooperation between Hong Kong and Singapore. Mr. Ong said that Singapore has always been actively taking part in China's development and expressed his commitment to the continuous positive interaction between Singapore and Hong Kong. The two sides also had in-depth exchanges of views on international and regional issues of mutual interest.
