Some media outlets in Hong Kong have made inquiries about the comments of the Commissioner’s Office on a video released by Ukraine that contains misleading information about Hong Kong and Taiwan. The spokesperson for the Commissioner’s Office responded as follows:

There is only one China in the world, and Hong Kong and Taiwan are both part of China. We urge the Ukrainian side to properly handle relevant issues, earnestly abide by the one-China principle, and not to show support for the separatist forces seeking “Taiwan independence” or the anti-China forces in Hong Kong in any form.
