Notice on Exemption of Online Appointment Requirement for China Visa Application

In order to further facilitate the application of visa to the mainland of China by foreign citizens, the Commissioner's Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Hong Kong S.A.R. will implement appointment-free visa application starting from December 11, 2023. Applicants may submit ordinary visa applications to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Hong Kong without appointment. Relevant documents should be prepared in advance as required.

 

After the exemption of visa appointment requirement, there might be a higher number of applications during peak hours.It is advised that visa applicants choose reasonable arrangement of time , and submit relevant application based on their own needs at off-peak times.
