Notice on Further adjustment of Visa and Entry Policies For Foreign Nationals

In order to further facilitate personnel exchanges，China would implement the following policies from 15 March 2023:

1. Foreign nationals holding valid visas issued before 28 March 2020 are allowed to enter the mainland of China.

2. Visa-issuing authorities abroad could accept application of all categories of visa for foreign nationals. For details, please refer to “Visa categories and the requirements of supporting documents ”(link: http://hk.ocmfa.gov.cn/eng/fwxx/wgrqz/202111/t20211110_10446430.htm).

3. Port visa authorities will resume to issue all categories of port visa complied with statutory reasons (For details, please contact the port visa authorities of the intended destination ).

4. Resuming Hainan visa-free policy, visa-free policy specified for foreign cruise-group-tour through Shanghai Port, Guangdong visa-free policy specified for foreign tour groups from Hong Kong or Macao SAR, and Guangxi visa-free policy specified for foreign tour groups of ASEAN countries (For  details, please contact the immigration inspection authorities of the intended destination).
