Notice on the Launching of the New-Version Online Application Form and Appointment System for Chinese Visa

A new-version online visa application form and appointment system for Chinese visa will be launched by the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China in HKSAR from May 10, 2021. The specific arrangements are as follows:

1. Visa applicants  can visit https://cova.mfa.gov.cn to fill in a new-version online visa application form, and then visit http://avas.cs.mfa.gov.cn to make an appointment. Please sign and submit the printed visa application form and confirmation page, together with other supporting documents to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in HKSAR during the appointed slot. Applicants can also do the online application and make an appointment via the website of Chinese Visa Application Service Center (https://bio.visaforchina.org/HKG2_EN).

2. Holders of diplomatic and service (official) passports should also visit https://cova.mfa.gov.cn to fill in the new-version online visa application form, and submit the application directly to the Consular Department of the Commissioner's Office (Address: 4F, China Resources Building, 26 Harbor Road, Wanchai) without an prior appointment.
