Notice On Applying Visas For Macao SAR of China Via Chinese Visa Application Service Center

As of 1st May 2019, those who apply visas for Macao SAR of China are requested to submit visa applications via Chinese Visa Application Service Center(CVASC). The Consular Department of the Commissioner's Office will no longer accept this type of visa applications directly. Details are as follows:

Office Hours and Service Charges

Working days: Monday to Friday (except for public holidays).

Submission of applications: 9:00-16:00

Payment and pick-up of visas: 10:00-17:00,

Service charges: Besides collecting visa fees on behalf of the Commissioner's Office, CVASC will also charge service fees. For more information, please contact CVASC or visit its website.

Processing time:Visas processing would normally take 10 working days. No express or urgent service.

 

Special Notes

Applicants can apply visas for Macao SAR of China either to the Consular Department of the Commissioner's Office via CVASC or directly to Public Security Police Force, Government of Macao SAR.

Please note that nationals of Bangladesh, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Vietnam are required to obtain an entry visa before arriving at the Macao SAR. Nationals of above mentioned six countries who bears a valid Hong Kong ID are NOT subject to this measure.

Applicants holding diplomatic or service (official) passports, applicants who apply diplomatic/service/courtesy visas may still submit their applications directly to the Consular Department of the Commissioner's Office (Address:3F, China Resources Building, 26 Harbor Road; Opening hours: 9:00-12:00, 14:30-17:00, Monday to Friday, except for public holidays).
